Wet Feet
The Mary Janes aren't any drier now than they were this morning when I left for work. I even tried using the hair dryer but am petrified they'll shrink more so I stopped. They are still a bit squishy when I put my foot in. I am beginning to think it'll be July before they're dry because of the triple soles. Oh foo! I WANT TO WEAR THESE! I even have the ribbon! This rots!

Maybe you could put crumpled newspaper in them to help dry them out and shape them. What about the oven? What do I know? I am just wanting them to dry quickly too.

OMG - don't put them in the oven! Your BURN them. I don't know this as fact, but you never know. Howabout near a heater? or in the sun. Or how about keep them in your car when your at work - the car heats up when parked. More "gentle" than oven or dryer. Rule 103.4.2 of The String: It drys when it wants to dry. Sorry.
