Update

Here's a brown wool cap I crocheted. The hats for Socks for Soldiers are, I think, supposed to be knit. So until the needles arrive that I ordered from KnitPicks in the correct size, I am working on washcloth. I am sending this hat to a local charity for homeless and people trying to get back on their feet. When I feel like crocheting something, I'll send it there. I like to help locally, too.

Happy Easter!!

Happy Easter everyone!

I have been busy crafting away but until I take pictures, I'm not going to say much. Just that one long-term project is done. Also, I followed Brooke's lead and joined the "Socks for Soldiers" program even though I do not make socks. Instead I will be making washcloths (already did that for them before) and beanies (hats). I have hat patterns now and those are pretty quick.

I need to finish a few things for my own gifting stash, however, as well as another washcloth for the swaps I am signed up for - next one starts this coming week. I have signed up for 4 more of those swaps which means I need 8 washcloths and I only have 7 done. We'll see... they don't take long. I am in love with the knit pattern I used for Jo's two matching birthday cloths - one was tan and one was green. Also, the Chinese Waves pattern. Very quick and fun. So I'll probably whip up one of those.

Hope the Easter Bunny left something good for all of you!
