Hats

I am totally addicted to the Spiral Rib hat pattern! I have posted the pictures of the one I made Ally (I think I only posted 1 picture). Anyway I made one for me and love how it turned out. Because I have offered to make one of these for a swap or two, I am going to post the picture of the one I made myself because it's in a variegated color instead of solid. Here:

So then my ex-sister-in-law, who is still these many years a wonderful friend, sent me a picture of a scarf she had knitted to go with her new winter coat. I know she crochets and I believe she is learning to knit. Anyway it was very cute. And I just couldn't resist. I made her this spiral rib hat and a cabled coffee cozy:

I truly love this pattern. It is easy to do, a fairly quick knit and takes very little yarn. See my previous post. So now I am trying to arrange private swaps with people for these hats. And washcloths, too.
